Design, implement, configure, manage, troubleshoot, deploy & tune Public Safety and other Wireless IP network infrastructure. Develop Public Safety WiFi Standard Implementation & Operation Policies. Configure, maintain & troubleshoot wireless data network infrastructure. Interface with the IT group to implement wireless equipment applications. Develop solutions involving protocols such as VOIP, SIP, IP & IMS specific protocol. Develop consistent 5nines/Six Sigma Network Quality metrics. Define, develop & implement network performance analysis tools. Design & configure Cisco Switches/Routers, SS7 routers, firewalls & VPN routers. Initiate, update, track, & close network trouble tickets database. Define configuration changes SOPs. Participate in developing IP architecture & security policies. Ensure configuration compliance & accept system configuration changes per public safety guidelines. Maintain records of configuration changes & communicate to appropriate personnel. Evaluate & improve the performance of the network. Prepare & review network technical operations reports & identify opportunities for improvement & recommend solutions. Use of IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), Motorola CDMA/Nextel network, Windows 2000, AAA Server, Cisco ONS / GSR, and Unix / Linux / SunOS.
